Zürich - a future 2000 Watt Society
Zürich aims to reduce energy consumption by two thirds, thereby transforming itself into a 2000-watt society. The measures adopted to achieve this include investment in energy-efficient construction, the generation of electricity from renewable sources and, simply, encouraging the purchase of fresh produce from farmer's markets.
