Pocket Statistics (english version)
The publication summarises on 32 pages the most important statistical information and significant must-knows for the City of Zurich. Classic categories such as resident population, work and employment, prices, construction and housing, tourism, education and politics are communicated by means of figures, diagrams and texts. The portrait is rounded off by a comparison with the towns of Basel, Bern, Lausanne and Geneva, and with the canton Zurich and Switzerland as a whole. «Essential Zurich» is of course also available in its German-language version: «Zürich in Zahlen». The financial support provided by Zürcher Kantonalbank allows us to make both language versions available free of charge.
