ZVV night supplement

The ZVV nighttime network allows you to get around by train and bus in the early hours of Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday.

If you wish to use the ZVV’s nighttime network you need two tickets:

TICKET 1: a ticket valid for the ZVV network (ZVV ticket, General Abonnement, etc.) from your place of departure to your destination. The 9 O’Clock pass is valid until the nighttime network closes at 5 a.m.

TICKET 2: a ZVV night supplement for CHF 5. You may buy one-off supplements (automatic ticket machine: *162, at sales offices or by SMS) or multiple supplements for CHF 27 (6 supplements available at  sales office  or at the Ticket Shop (German). Half-Fare travelcards and other discount tickets cannot be used when paying the supplement.

If calling from a landline, the network provider charges are around CHF 0.08 per minute. ZVV-Contact makes no charge for the advice it gives. If calling from a mobile telephone, the charge may well be higher. Ask your network provider about your tariffs.
