Receive the latest disruption information from VBZ free of charge via WhatsApp or Telegram. This way, you will always know if a streetcar or bus line can no longer run on its usual route due to a construction site, event or disruption.
If you would like to subscribe to disruption notifications for an unlimited period of time, then Telegram is the right channel for you.
If you only want to receive disruption reports when you need them, then choose WhatsApp.
On Telegram you can subscribe to VBZ disruption messages for an unlimited period of time. To do this, you must register for the VBZ-Stoerungsinfo_official_bot channel. You can choose at what times and whether you want to receive disruption messages from one, several or all lines. We will then automatically send you the relevant information until you stop the service.

Specify which messages you would like to receive and when by answering the questions in the chat.

Click on “Start” in the chat window
Specify which messages you would like to receive in which time period by answering the questions in the chat.
You can adjust your settings at any time later by entering the message “Profile”.

Would you like to take a break or unsubscribe and stop receiving messages?
- Send us the message “Stop”. You will then receive no further information. With “Start” you can subscribe to the service again at any time.
- The “Delete all data” message will remove all your data from our systems.
Would you like to know whether there is currently a disruption on the line you need? Then send a message to VBZ-Alerto via WhatsApp with the desired line number(s). You will immediately receive the relevant information. We will also automatically send you all updates and new messages for this/these line(s) on the same day.

Please note: Your request is only valid for the corresponding day. If you wish to receive fault reports on other days, you must send a new request each time. Due to WhatsApp's terms and conditions, it is not possible to subscribe to fault messages for an unlimited period of time.
The following entries/messages are recognized by VBZ-Alerto:
Line number (e.g. “2”, “31”, ‘S6’, “SN18” etc.): all VBZ streetcar and bus line numbers in and outside the city of Zurich. In addition, the numbers of the VBG streetcar lines, S-Bahn lines, night lines and Postbuses operating in the city of Zurich.
- “S-Bahn”: all S-Bahn disruption information for the city of Zurich.
- “Night lines”: all night buses and night S-Bahn services in the city of Zurich.
- “Postbus”: all Postbus disruption information for the city of Zurich.
- “Polybahn”
- “Dolderbahn”
- ‘Rigiblick’
- “all”: receipt of all current disruption messages
Please note that for suburban trains, night services and Postbuses, messages are only sent from lines that serve stops in the VBZ area.
If you would like information on several lines, you can list them in the same message, separated by commas, e.g. “2, 5, 31”.
