I have lived in Zurich since 2020 and have made the city my home. At the same time, my work takes me around the world, while Zurich remains the place where I feel at home. I have worked in the cultural and arts sector for many years and currently serve as Managing Director of the Zürich Dance Ensemble. Previously, I worked at Schauspielhaus Zürich in touring and international relations. Engaging with different people, perspectives, and lived experiences shapes both my work and my understanding of urban society.
Culture and connection are also important to me beyond my professional work: I serve on the board of artFAQ and am involved with TanzPlan Ost. These engagements give me the opportunity to connect different perspectives and contexts – something I would also like to the Foreigns’ Advisory Board.
As a member of the Foreigns‘ Advisory Board, I would like to advocate for a vibrant, diverse, and accessible cultural life in Zurich. At the same time, it is important to me that people without a Swiss passport have greater opportunities to contribute their perspectives and concerns and to participate in political processes at the city level.
Above all, I would like to contribute what is also central to my professional and voluntary work: listening, building connections, and bringing different perspectives into dialogue. As a moderating and mediating voice, I hope to help turn diverse experiences into collective action.
To me, Zurich is a city that thrives on its diversity. I look forward to helping shape this diversity as a member of the council and to working towards a city in which as many people as possible feel: I am part of this city – and I can help shape it.
