What is a caribou and what is tufting? Artist Jackie Olson and her daughter Kalilah (Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in First Nations) know. Mother and daughter talk about the importance of regalia and demonstrate the technique of caribou hair tufting, a technique that has long since taken root in the far north and which also sounds familiar to us.
