The Residents‘ Office is responsible for registering, overseeing and managing personal data, the registration of changes in civil status as well as the organization of dignified funerals of deceased from various cultural backgrounds.

The Residents' Office consists of three divisions: the Civil Registry Office, the Residents' Registration Office and the Funeral and Cemeteries Office.

The Central Electoral Registry certifies signatures of voters that have signed an initiative or referendum and sends out voting documents several times each year.
