Qualitative study on the image of the city of Zurich

What is the external perception of the city of Zurich? Who has what image of the city? Are there systematic differences in the external perception of the city? What are the possible reasons for the existing images of the city of Zurich?

The City of Zurich depends on the participation and cooperation of other actors in Switzerland's multi-level system if it wants to develop sustainably and implement solutions to upcoming challenges.

How do cooperation partners who are in regular contact with the city perceive Zurich? What is their subjective image? Is Zurich seen as an open, professional and reliable pioneer? Or does the city act self-referentially, sluggishly and complicatedly? How should it shape its role in the future? Where can it improve? A qualitative study by KEK-CDC Consultants takes up these questions and provides an initial inventory.

The authors of the study are political scientist Kathrin Frey, M.A. Basil Schläpfer and M.A. Marina Häusermann.
