Requirements for COVID-19 vaccination
You can only be vaccinated against COVID-19 if
- you have registered and have the six-digit code.
- you have your official ID, your health insurance card, the six-digit code and any additional documents, such as a certificate from your doctor, with you.
- Medical criteria for vaccination approval can be found at the Health Department of the Canton of Zurich

All persons over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the Impfzentrum Triemli.

Children between 12 and 16 years of age must bring the signed consent form to the vaccination center if they come for vaccination unaccompanied by their parents.
If you have any pre-existing conditions or allergies relevant to vaccination, please check in with your primary care physician for any necessary pre-vaccination medical clearance. We recommend that you clarify with the doctor whether the vaccination is possible in the practice.

Can I come for vaccination without an appointment?
Yes, between 9 am and 12 pm and between 12 pm and 4 pm. Without an appointment you have to expect waiting times.
Can I choose the vaccine?No, the vaccine cannot be selected. The vaccination centre is supplied with vaccine by the canton of Zurich. Depending on availability, either Moderna or Pfizer will be vaccinated. Both vaccines are licensed in Switzerland and do not differ in terms of efficacy and safety.
Can I postpone the vaccination date?

Can I come without a health insurance card?
Yes, this is possible if you know the name of the health insurance company and your insurance number.
How long after the infection can I be vaccinated?
The vaccination can be done one month after the infection. After a confirmed infection, you only need one vaccination.
Can I take an antibody test to get vaccinated after infection?
If you have not had a confirmed infection, you can have an antibody test with your GP before your first vaccination. If the test confirms a previous infection, you can be vaccinated at the earliest two weeks after the antibody test.

The certificate will be issued if you are fully vaccinated (2x vaccination) or if you are recovered and 1x vaccinated. We can only issue the certificate to people who have been vaccinated at our vaccination centre.
