It's better to travel well prepared.
You can plan your trip on these websites:
- In the ‘Timetable and Information’ tab, you can search for a connection.
- Click on ‘More options’ in the blue box at the bottom right.
- Choose the options you want for barrier-free travel.
- Need more time to change? Allow more time for transfers.
- Please indicate this before travelling:
how much time do you need to change?
- Easy boarding and alighting without steps thanks to low-floor vehicles on all tram lines.
Low-floor means that the threshold on the vehicle is low and there are no steps.
Suitable for people in wheelchairs and people with a walking disability.
- Many stops are step-free.
The route network map shows:
These barrier-free stops are suitable for people with a walking disability.
- With the Flexity, Cobra and Tram 2000 sedan vehicle types, all trams on the Zurich city network are low-floor. This means that the wheelchair symbol on our digital information boards at the stops is no longer necessary. In the table below you can see which door is best for boarding with a wheelchair or pushchair.
- When will a step-free tram arrive?
At important stops, it says when the tram will come.
A wheelchair sign on the screen means:
this tram is step-free
You can also find the information:
- in the online timetable
