  • The good news in advance: A normal, valid ticket is sufficient. There is no night supplement. 
  • The vehicles on the ZVV nighttime network are on the road on the nights from Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday and on the nights of public holidays (except Christmas).
  • Many night buses depart from the main station every 30 minutes between 1.15 a.m. and 4.15 a.m. The other night buses offer attractive connections at numerous transfer stops. An "N" in front of the line number is the distinguishing mark of the night lines, which largely follow the lines of the daytime network.
  • The routes of the night buses lead far beyond the city limits and connect the city with the region. The night buses are well networked with the night S-Bahns.
