The city of Zurich with its quarters is subject to constant change. The changes are reflected in each of the 34 districts in a different way. The social space monitoring maps the different development of the districts.

The report was developed in cooperation with the cross-departmental "Core Group on Neighbourhood Development", which deals with socio-spatial aspects of urban and neighbourhood development. Accordingly, the monitoring focuses primarily on demographic and socio-economic issues.
