The city of Zurich is subject to constant and diverse change. The changes are reflected in each of the city's 34 districts in a different way.

The social space monitoring shows the different characters and developments of the districts on the basis of a compilation of socially relevant and available indicators, which are spatially represented (76 maps in 23 subject areas).

The focus is on the socio-spatial aspects of urban and district development, primarily demographic and socio-economic issues.

The report is aimed at interested parties within and outside the city administration.
