Integration policy goals of the City of Zurich 2022 – 2026
Living together in the city of Zurich works well. With an active integration policy, the city makes important contributions to this. This is based on strategic goals, which the city council sets for each legislative period. The integration policy goals for the years 2022-2026 are a further development of the goals of the last legislature.
Access to services and offers, the role of the city as an employer and the issue of racism are given greater weight. The potential of voluntary commitment, the commitment to the local right to vote for foreigners and the support of a solidary urban society with the introduction of a Zurich City Card are now taken into account.

In the course of 2013, selected integration policy goals of the City of Zurich were discussed in departmental rounds of talks. Depending on this, the status of implementation or inputs for further work were asked. The IF has summarized the externally prepared report and evaluated its content with regard to findings that are of interest for future planning.
