This morning, an editorial department in Zurich received a telephone bomb threat against the FIFA Congress being held at the Hallenstadion. Zurich City Police, the rescue services and various specialists immediately proceeded to the Zurich district of Oerlikon to assess the situation on site together with FIFA officials. The decision was taken for the conference hall to be searched by specialists from the Zurich City Police and the Scientific Research Service, the WFD. The police operation is still in progress. However, nobody has had to be evacuated so far. Further information will be provided as soon as it is available.
